New Haven County children’s photography, photo classes in Connecticut
I’m thrilled to be teaching a three-hour workshop this summer at the Creative Arts Workshop in downtown New Haven. CAW has been instrumental to my growth as a photographer, so it feels wonderful to continue the tradition of learning and growing at a place close to my heart. This class is for moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and anyone else who wants to step up their children’s photography a notch. We will talk about technical aspects of photographing kids that make a big difference (e.g. camera settings, light!), but we will also talk a lot about how to wait for the right moment, or how changing your angle slightly can change the whole mood of a photo. We’ll look at many photographs as part of the first two hours, and in the 3rd, we’ll go outside and practice a bit. If you’d like to browse their offerings or register, you can take a look at their summer brochure, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with me (you can use the Contact header on this site) if you have any questions!
