Pet portraiture in Connecticut, horse photography in New Haven County
The bonds between horse and human can be so strong! I took photographs of Chantel with two horses, each special to her for different reasons. Bosco (the dark brown pony; she’s wearing jeans in the photos with him) was the horse she really learned to ride on, from the initial stages of walk/trot to cantering and jumping. He saw her through an early nervous period and has really helped her develop confidence and technical skills. Diva is her new horse, a beautiful “snowflake” with white spots, who just arrived at the barn at Blackhorse two weeks ago! I think they are already bonding quite well, don’t you? 🙂
