Daya celebrated her Bat Mitzvah this weekend on a perfect early spring day (the sun was shining! It was warm!), and everyone could sense the celebration and festivity in the air from the moment they entered the synagogue. Daya has an incredible way of throwing her head back and laughing so that the whole room lights up and you can’t help smiling along with her. She was surrounded by family and friends who lifted her up (figuratively and literally) with kind words and congratulations, and it is clear that Daya spends a lot of time lifting other people up, too. The party at the Pine Orchard Club was so much fun! It was a joy to get to document this incredible day so that she and all those she loves can remember it as the joyous occasion that it was.
