Just a quick announcement about a great event happening in New Haven on September 23rd. Somewhat Off-the-Wall is a unique cocktail party and art auction event to benefit the Greater New Haven Arts Council. With a $100 ticket, you are guaranteed to take home a piece of original artwork by one of 50 local artists that have donated their time and talent (regular tickets are $35; click the link to see the artwork submitted so far). Auction ticket holders draw numbers and choose artwork “off the wall”. This year the event includes a raffle; a $5 ticket could win you a handcrafted stool from City Bench, a $300 voucher to Dinners on the Farm, or a photo session and two 8×10 archival inkjet prints by me! Come support the Arts Council and take home something beautiful, too.
