Every year in March, the Shoreline Arts Alliance puts on a photography show with works by Connecticut photographers. The show, titled IMAGES, is juried by a panel and considered to be prestigious (this year, 116 of 760 photos were accepted). This show emphasizes photography as a means of creative expression, so the works on the walls are always intriguing, sometimes mysterious, and usually thought-provoking. It is definitely worth stopping by to see it before it closes on April 13th. My photo below, entitled “Tough”, was accepted, and I’m thrilled! Make sure you also look for Florence Minnis, Dianne Thouin, Deborah Tenney, Sherry Fogel, and Kathryn Frederick’s work. They are outstanding photographers who I’m privileged to work with every week at the Creative Arts Workshop.
