Head shot photographer, Connecticut shoreline senior photography, head shots in Branford
These Stony Creek winter head shot sessions are perfect examples of why I love winter photo shoots. Yes, it’s cold (although we do have some very reasonable temperature days now and then), but the neutral colors of winter create an uncluttered palette. It is wonderful for all skin tones. The sun isn’t ever too high in the sky to create unflattering light. And most of us are less busy, which means it’s the easiest time to schedule!
Session with Amy:
I love her simple styling: you can never go wrong with a white sweater! I have lots of inspiration what-to-wear boards on Pinterest here.
It’s hard to decide whether I like this photo better in color or black and white!
Session with Adelyn:
Even though it’s winter, there are often some autumn leaves still hanging on!
And I think it is so fun to play with the marsh grasses for some photos. It adds variety to the head shot session.
Session with Clayton (not a winter session!):
The Stony Creek Trolley Trail, where all of these photos were taken, has a great underpass with colorful graffiti.
And finally if you’re in Stony Creek, don’t miss a stop at the Stony Creek Market for a sandwich or snack. It’s a great local place with an incredible view!
