New Haven County family photography, children’s documentary photography in Connecticut
I have known these two boys for many years, and I was so happy when my friend suggested this kind of session for them…they just have that perfect beach look about them, don’t they? I felt like we were on the California coast on Friday, except for the fact that the water temperature here in Connecticut isn’t quite right for serious swimming, nor are the waves exactly right for surfing ;). But the boys brought their beloved boogie boards, and we got some great shots of them playing along the rocks by the water. They had a whole game going (we were a small army against the seagulls, and older brother told me a triumphant tale about frog and snake conquests–it was great)–I love the imaginary worlds of children! The best was how well they made each other laugh, both on request (when I was trying to get them to smile naturally), but also spontaneously. I loved this session and it seemed like they had great fun with it too. Thanks, guys! Lots more photos to come! 🙂
